President's Comments PDF Print E-mail

Good afternoon to my friends of the South Carolina Public Records Association!

I  hope this  finds everyone high and dry!  My family and I are doing well.  No flooding!  Please keep all our members in your prayers.  It is going to take quite some time to overcome this much water and damage to our roadways and bridges.  If you have to venture out please be safe.

My prayers go out to all of you!!

I look forward to seeing you in October.

Thank You, All

Andrew Bigony – President of SCPRA

Michelle Lowery Receives SCPRA Member of the Year Award

MICHELLE LOWERY received the SCPRA Member of the Year Award at the 2013 conference. Michelle is not only dedicated to the York County Sheriff's Office, but she is dedicated and committed to the goals of the SCPRA. She does an excellent job as Program Coordinator for the Upstate Region and she chairs the SCPRA Awards Committee. She has organized the paperwork and all items as they relate to the Awards. Michelle planned, without hesitation, the network luncheon for the Upstate Region after realizing the Program Coordinator could not plan it. She has worked extremely hard to see that it was a success. Michelle has excellent work habits and does not mind new challenges of which she brings to SCPRA. She assists the Board when and wherever needed, and she will go out of her way to help. She demonstrates a high degree of initiative, and therefore the Member of the Year award is well deserving of her in appreciation for outstanding dedication and service above and beyond the call of duty.
