A Message from your president...........
Dear Fellow Association Members,
2008 Promises to be an exciting year for those of us who participate in the 2008 South Carolina
Public Records Association (SCPRA) Conference. It will be held again at the Landmark Hotel in
sunny Myrtle Beach from November 12-14, 2008. We will have not only good educational tracks but
also motivational speakers to enrich your personal lives.
The Program Committee is working diligently to bring good, quality, educational programs with
topics records professionals will be sure to be able use to glean new information. The main focus of
the Program Committee is to keep you on the cutting edge of technology, information and records
management.
It is important for the Board of Directors to hear from you to know how you receive the dynamics of
the way the conference is being handled. So please, take time to email me if you have any issues
or questions that we can consider as a board to make the conference better. My email address is

Finally, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to serve as your President. Learning and
sharing with records professionals is one of my favorite things to do. I learn so much and meet such
warm, wholesome people. I appreciate your commitment to the records profession and I am looking
forward to our conference and the excitement that comes from being at the beach! Hope to see you
